Trickster Spirits
Trickster spirits appear in the folklore of many cultures and typically exhibit qualities like cleverness, deceitfulness, and a disregard for conventional rules.
- Coyote: A prominent figure in many Native American cultures, particularly in the Plains and the Southwest. Stories often portray Coyote as a cunning and humorous character who is responsible for both creative acts (like bringing fire to humanity) and foolish mistakes, often highlighting the balance of good and bad within the world.

- Raven: Found frequently in Pacific Northwest Indigenous folklore, Raven is typically a powerful shapeshifter who is clever, curious, and often selfish. Many myths focus on Raven's role in creating the world, bringing light (by stealing the sun, moon, and stars from a powerful chief), or discovering the first humans.
