This beautiful sun shaped mirror is decoration with multicoloured glass mosaic tiles and finished on albesia wood frame. There is a hook on the back for hanging.
These unique mirrors are handmade in Bali by small family units. They get sheets of glass and hand cut them into the smaller mosaic tiles you see on the final product. They're very skilled and will often sit on the floor in their gardens and hand place the tiles in such an amazing artistic way as to produce the final flawless piece and get it pretty perfect every time. They're then left to dry in the sun and packaged up just for you to enjoy at home.
Sales of this product help provide families with regular income in a very poor part of the world where stable work is hard to find. It allows family units to feel safe and supported and in control of their own future and not rely on others. A key part of what Fair Trade is.
