It is important that you try not to let the bowl run dry whilst the candle is lit. A useful tip is to keep a small jug of water near your burner, so you don’t have to keep running backwards and forwards to refill the bowl. When you wish to clean the bowl wipe it out using kitchen roll then wash in warm soapy water.
